On October 1, 1998, Chandler Glover filed a charge of discrimination
against his employer, the Postal Service, claiming that permanent
rehabilitation employees, as a class, suffered employment
discrimination.
Specifically, Mr. Glover alleged that he and other permanent
rehabilitation
employees were denied promotional opportunities and opportunities to
advance their careers with the Postal Service, as a result of their
alleged
disabilities.
On March 30, 2000 Was Equal Employment
Opportunity Commission (Commission) Administrative Judge certified Mr.
Glover's case as a class action.
