Cincinnati Bell Wireless, KY

A class action lawsuit has been filed against Cincinnati Bell Wireless on behalf of customers in Kentucky who were charged roaming fees when they made calls within the Cincinnati Bell local calling area or within a metropolitan area of the larger AT&T Wireless Network. The suit claims that the company wrongly charged the roaming fees and it alleges fraud, breach of contract and violations of the Kentucky Consumer Protection Act.

According to the complaint, Cincinnati Bell Wireless "is and for years has been aware that it is wrongfully charging its subscribers for roaming charges. It intentionally continues this practice despite it awareness that by doing so (it) violates the law and is theft of the subscriber's money." (Feb-03-05)
