The suit claims the funeral home operators knew or should have known that Bayview was commingling bodies during cremation and mishandling the remains. Thousands of New England families cannot be sure that the high volume, low price crematorium gave them back the correct ashes. Employees at Bayview took truck loads of bodies to the facility where they were cremated together. They then returned the remains to families with no certainty of actual ashes of their loved ones.
