A class action lawsuit has been filed against the following blood glucose monitor manufacturers: Hypoguard USA of Chicago, IL; Medisys USA of Minneapolis, MN; Liberty Medical Supply of Plantation, FL; and Fox Medical of Fort Pierce, FL. The suit alleges breach of warranties, unjust enrichment, and consumer and common law fraud. The suit claims that the monitors and strips manufactured by these companies pose serious health risks and that they give inaccurately high or low readings. (Feb-01-05)
