Patriot Resorts Corp.

A class action lawsuit has been filed against Patriot Resorts Corp., developer of Vacation Village in the Berkshires, on behalf of several of the company's current and former salespeople. The suit alleges that Patriot inadequately paid the salespeople for selling time-share units. The plaintiffs began selling Vacation Village time-share units on a commission-only basis in the latter half of 2001, and they allege that the company failed to pay them the minimum wage and failed to pay them for overtime in violation of the Fair Labor Standards Act. They further seek redress under Massachusetts law prohibiting "untimely and nonpayment of wages and commissions."
