Over 80 people who were sickened by salmonella tainted tomatoes have filed a class action lawsuit against the supply company and the convenience store chain. After multiple lawsuits were filed against Coronet, they shut down and filed for bankruptcy. The company has $11 million dollars worth of insurance coverage. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention over 400 people were sickened across nine states after eating Roma tomatoes served at Sheetz stores last year.
