A $600 million dollar class action lawsuit has been filed against the City of Toronto, and the Canadian federal and Ontario provincial governments on behalf of people who became sick with SARS from April 20 and July 31, 2003. The suit alleges that the government was negligent by prematurely declaring an end to the deadly disease in early May.
