Allegations:
A securities class action lawsuit has been filed against Superconductor Technologies, Inc. (Nasdaq: SCON ) and certain of its officers and directors. The action was filed in the United States District Court for the Western District of California on behalf of all purchasers of the common stock of Superconductor Technologies, Inc. (the "Company") between January 9, 2004 and March 1, 2004, inclusive (the "Class Period").

The action is pursuing remedies under the Securities Exchange Act of 1934. The complaint charges the Company and certain of its officers and directors for violations of the federal securities laws. During the Class Period, it is alleged that the Company projected first quarter 2004 revenues to be in the range of 10 to 13 million dollars. However, in actuality, first quarter revenues were later announced to be closer to 4 million dollars, due to changes in demand made by two (2) of the Company's customers. The complaint further alleges that the Company and its officers and directors knew of this decreased demand for its product well in advance of this previous allegedly inflated revenue projection.

If you acquired the securities of the defendants during the Class Period you may, no later than the Lead Plaintiff Deadline shown above, request that the Court appoint you as lead plaintiff through counsel of your choice. You may also choose to remain an absent class member. A lead plaintiff must meet certain requirements.
