Airborne Settles False Claims Allegations for $7 Million

Further to allegations of false advertising, the makers of Airborne dietary supplements have agreed to pay $7 million as settlement to 32 states to close the case.

The suit hinged on alleged false claims Airborne made regarding the benefits of its fruit-flavored dietary products.

In addition to the payment, Airborne has agreed to stop making claims regarding the efficacy, safety, health benefits, or performance of its products with respect to cold prevention.
