Hexion Specialty Chemicals Inc.

Louisville, KY: (Mar-05-07) A class action lawsuit filed against Hexion Specialty Chemicals by residents of Riverside Gardens contended that the residents suffered on account of the company's plant. A federal judge granted approval to a $5.25 million class action settlement. The settlement also provides monetary compensation and improvements to the plant's wastewater treatment system to help control emissions and odors.
