Del Webb Agrees Settlement of $27.2 Million for Defective Kitec Plumbing

This is a settlement for the Housing, Landlord, Tenant lawsuit.

A tentative settlement has been reached between Del Webb, the developer of the Sun Cities in the Las Vegas valley, and members of the class action suit brought against the developer over faulty plumbing.

Del Webb and its subsidiary Coventry Homes of Nevada have agreed to pay $27.2 million in re-plumbing costs for approximately 4,200 homes that were fitted with defective Kitec fixtures.

After deducting attorneys fees and various other costs, each qualified home owner in the class action should receive about $6,500.
