The 11th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals has ruled for the defendants in the class action lawsuit filed on behalf of Florida's 365 male inmates at Union Correctional Institution in Raiford. The suit alleged that the temperatures in the prison's death row area routinely topped 100 degrees, and that this was unconstitutional treatment of the plaintiffs. (Aug-09-04) [BRADENTON]
