United States Department of Agriculture

A $2.25 million dollar settlement has been approved in the class action lawsuit filed against the United States Department of Agriculture on behalf on Missouri cotton farmers. The suit alleged that the farmers were directed by Farm Services Administration officials to sign the wrong form, and therefore they received much less in loan deficiency payments than they were entitled to receive.
