Literary Works

This is a settlement for the Trademark, Copyright, Patent lawsuit.

A class action lawsuit was filed against the company claiming commercial electronic databases and certain print publishers infringed the copyrights of freelance authors. Print publishers first published the works with the authors' permission, but then allegedly sold them to electronic databases which reproduced, displayed, sold and distributed the authors' works without their permission. Settlement restrictions apply, see details. (Jun-06-05) [YAHOO]
