Caremark Rx Inc.

A lawsuit filed in U.S. District Court of Arizona seeking class action status alleges that Caremark Rx Inc. intentionally concealed revenue to avoid paying commissions and did not follow its contracts in paying consultants who brought business to the company. As well, the suit alleges the company intentionally failed to report total revenue earned from other companies by negotiating new contracts with customers and then hiding the revenue as separate administrative fees. Caremark, based in Nashville, is one of the country's largest pharmaceutical benefits managers.
