A suit against several airlines has been launched by a hearing-impaired teenager who hopes that the suit will be certified as a class action on behalf of 25 million others with hear loss, because the carriers don't offer in-flight movies with captions.

The suit alleges that Continental, American, United and several other carriers have violated the Americans with Disabilities Act by not accommodating hearing impaired people by not offering movies with captions for those who are hearing impaired.
