Disgruntled customers have filed a lawsuit and are seeking class action status against the popular talk show host alleging false advertising of his Shape Up weight loss pills. After a possible Federal Trade Commission investigation into false advertising concerns, CSA Nutraceuticals agreed to stop making the products. The suit claims false advertising by claiming the supplements cause weight loss by promoting metabolism of fat and reducing carbohydrate cravings and appetite swings.
