DuPont

According to the lawsuit filed in U.S. District Court in New Jersey, drinking water supplied near the Dupont facility in New Jersey has been contaminated with chemicals perfluorooctanoic acid (PFOA), a suspected carcinogen used in the manufacturing of flouropolymers. The class action lawsuit claims that Dupont knew for years that PFOA contaminated the groundwater underneath its Chambers Work Plant in Salem County, New Jersey.
