Eli Lilly & Co.

A lawsuit seeking class action status has been filed in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Indiana, alleging racial discrimination by Eli Lilly against African American employees. It claims the drug maker promotes and pays less to black employees than their white counterparts and retaliates against them when they have complained of discrimination. More than 1,000 people may have been discriminated against in this company that employs more than 40,000 people throughout the world.
