A class action lawsuit filed against the car manufacturer claims that millions of windshield wipers on older model vehicles are defective. According to the suit, General Motors only recalled a portion of vehicles that have faulty windshield wipers and refused to reimburse people still using those vehicles that were not recalled.
Of 7.5 million trucks, vans and SUVs from model years 1994 through 1999, General Motors recalled only 1.7 million vehicles in 2003 and replaced their windshield wiper circuit boards and motor covers.
