Kenton County, KY Jail Building Prevention

A class action lawsuit has been filed to prevent the Kenton County from building a jail outside of Independence, KY. The lawsuit seeks to prevent the county from closing on the property, which is near the Liberty Orchard subdivision and the Summit View middle and elementary schools. The case also claims the public was shut out of the selection process, but it is ultimately the taxpayers who pay for such projects.
