Merck 401(k) Retirement Plan Losses



A law firm is investigating the losses in the retirement plans of former and current Merck & Co. employees arising out of the recent price decline when the withdrawl of Vioxx was announced. The essence of the wrong is that the fiduciaries whose task it was to ensure the safety of the employees' pension assets failed to act to prevent the undue accumulation of Merck stock in employee 401(k) accounts and/or withheld information about the safety profile of Vioxx and the risk that the drug would have to be withdrawn.

This was a while back when I went to work for Merck and was there from 1909 -2006, Wondering since this was so long ago, if you can still get compensated
