BMO Nesbitt Burns Inc.



Investors of FMF Capital Group Ltd. have filed a class action lawsuit against Nesbitt for allegedly conspiring with FMF management to perpetrate a fraud during the marketing of the $197 million initial public offering. FMF was a U.S. mortgage company that was spun into a trust and listed on the Toronto Stock Exchange in March 2005. It promised investors an initial yield of 11%, but stocks have dropped by nearly 95%.
