A class action lawsuit has been filed against the chain store on behalf of New Jersey employees alleging unpaid overtime. The lawsuit claims Home Depot's New Jersey store employees are illegally being denied overtime pay. The case alleges Home Depot misclassifies workers as exempt employees to save millions of dollars in employee compensation by requiring employees to work in excess of 40 hours per work week without paying time-and-a-half for all hours worked in excess of 40 hours.
