NutraSweet Corporation

A $350 million class action lawsuit has been filed against the NutraSweet Corporation, American Diabetes Association, Dr. Robert H. Moser and John Does 1-50. The suit alleges that the chemical sweetener aspartame, which is found in more than 5,000 food products and in all soft drinks sold in the United States, is hazardous to the health of humans. The suit further claims that the defendants engaged in unlawful acts of "knowingly and intentionally using the neurotoxic Aspartame as a sugar substitute in the manufacture of Equal, while knowing that exposure to Aspartame causes numerous diseases and symptoms.

I was diagnosed with MS in March of 2007. I gave up aspartame in December 2007 and I have been symptom free ever since. The MS seems to have gone away once the aspartame was removed from my diet. I wonder what the cause could be???

I used NutraSweet through my entire pregnancy with my son and continued to use it in our home afer his birth. He has suffered from learning disorders and behavioral and emotional disorders that I feel may be because of this use. He also has allergies, asthma, stomach problems/pains, headaches and much more.
My doctor said it was safe. I started suffering from headaches and have had ovarian cycests and lumps in my breasts. I did not have these before the use of the NutraSweet. I have had problems with insomnia, Arthritis, asthma, fatigue, diarrhea (IBS), panic attacks (GAD), depression, chronic yeast infections, problems concentrating and other problems that have accured in recent years that may be due to the use of this product.
Can you please help?
