A class action lawsuit has been conditionally approved against Progressive Corp., alleging that the company did not pay overtime to its claims representatives. Progressive claims that the representatives have been properly classified by the US Department of Labor as exempt from overtime provisions, however more than 1,000 current and former employees are expected to join the lawsuit to recover unpaid overtime wages and bonuses.

My daughter is a claims adjuster at Progressive. She started in february 2016. She received a letter in December 2017 stating she eligible in a lawsuit for overtime. She lost the letter and does not know how or where to file. She works in Oregon. The paper had said it was filed in New York. Do you have information on who she can contact?

I worked for Progressive Insurance from 2000 to June of 2006. I remember this lawsuit for not being paid for overtime even though Progressive claimed that the employees were properly classified as exempt from overtime provisions. I did not participate in this lawsuit as I was still employee of Progressive and afraid it would cause problems as an employee. If this lawsuit has not been resolved, I would like to be apart of it. I worked from home and at the office. I worked very long hours at this company.
