Repsol YPF

Shareholders in the US have filed a class action lawsuit against the Spanish oil group for allegedly misleading regulators and investors over the level of its oil and gas reserves. The class action complaint was filed in a New York district court on behalf of holders of Repsol ADRs and claims company executives 'knowingly or recklessly made numerous false and misleading statements concerning the company's business and financial results'. The complaint is an amended version a pervious lawsuit which sought damages for shareholders of the stock between July 28, 2005 and Jan 27, 2006 inclusive.
