Ritalin and Cancer Risk



On June 30, 2005, researchers from the M.D. Anderson Cancer Center at the University of Texas, showed damage to the chromosomes of 12 children who had taken Ritalin for three months. These scientists have discovered a possible link between Ritalin and Cancer. The United States Food and Drug Administration is examining the potential link of the stimulant that has been used to treat millions of children with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) for decades.
