I have 2 Boston Scientific IVC filters in me. The first filter placed in 2008 became clogged and the doctor collapsed it, but I believe it was left in and a second was placed in 2011. The second filter was attempted to be removed in Nov 2014, however, it was imbedded in the Vena Cava wall and couldn't be removed. I am a 40 year old who hopefully has a long time to live, and due to that, is a great chance of developing continued problems. Scary to think of the potential problems faced. You know about the risk of the surgeries, not about the risks that the IVC filters cause themselves. I have already suffered from the multiple surgeries. There is an extensive medical history. Looking for help in getting compensated for both past and future pain and suffering.
