A settlement has been reached in the class action lawsuit filed on behalf of employees and the nationwide grocery and pharmacy chain will now include coverage for prescription contraception in its employee health benefit plans. The suit was filed by the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and Planned Parenthood Federation of America claiming that "prescription contraception is basic health care for women."
