Boykin Lodging Company

Shareholders filed three putative class action lawsuits against the hotel real estate investment trust company and its directors. The lawsuits related to Boykin's planned sale to Braveheart Holdings for $416 million and the sale of two resorts to entities controlled by Chief Executive and Chairman Robert Boykin. Boykin Lodging has entered into a memorandum of understanding to settle the three class action lawsuits and will make certain additional disclosures to its shareholders. (Sep-01-06) [PR NEWSWIRE]
