A $2.9 million settlement has been reached in the class action lawsuit filed on behalf of more than 260,000 prospective immigrants. The suit alleged was filed over the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act which was introduced in December, 2002. The Act changed the point system used to assess prospective skilled worker immigrants. (Nov-20-04)
