Saskatchewan Organic Directorate farmers tried to file a class action lawsuit against the companies. The lawsuit claimed genetically modified canola stole revenue from the organic canola market in Canada. Saskatoon Queen's Bench Justice Gene-Anne Smith has dismissed the application for class action certification. (May-13-05)
