Protection and Advocacy for People with Disablities, Inc. filed a class action lawsuit against the transit system on behalf of the Disability Action Center and four individuals. The lawsuit alleged CMRTA violated the Americans with Disabilities Act. In the settlement, CMRTA has agreed make a donation to Protection and Advocacy for People with Disablities Inc. as well as provide continuous training to employees about the Americans with Disabilities Act.
