A class action lawsuit was filed in November of 1997 against the company for allegedly using fraudulent contracts. Easyhome's rental agreement contracts did not conform to the requirements of the Quebec Consumer Protection Act and they have agreed to pay a $547,512 settlement. (May-13-05)
