A Pennsylvania jury has awarded two former fen-phen users $200 million in damages for heart problems caused by the diet drug. In February, Wyeth offered class action plaintiffs a 'drop claim' settlement option of up to $100,000. Even though the weight loss medication is still on the market, Margie Paul and Elaine Karician were awarded $100 million each. (May-27-05)
