A $1.1 million settlement has been reached in the class action lawsuit filed on behalf of 970 people who were charged higher loan fees because they were white. The suit claimed that the company charged up to 3 percent in loan officer commission fees to minorities, and charged a maximum of 4 percent in fees to white people.
