A settlement has been reached in the class action lawsuit filed against LookSmart on behalf of customers who were required to accept a new commercial listings agreement to remain included in LookSmart's directory, and paid a fee related to this listing between May 13, 1998 and April 9, 2002. The suit was filed in April 2002 and charged the company with misleading advertising, breach of contract, fraudulent business practices.
