Final approval has been granted for the settlement of the class action lawsuit filed against its wood coating products. The suit claimed that a sealant used by the company's Behr Process Corp. unit caused excessive mildew damage to the plaintiff's homes. This latest settlement encompasses almost all lawsuits filed in the U.S. and is separate from a settlement in March which involved 19 counties in Washington state.
