A settlement has been reached and is pending approval in the class action lawsuit filed on behalf of minority motorists. The suit alleged racial profiling and mistreatment, and claimed that the plaintiffs had been stopped for minor violations, subjected to "intense interrogations" and subjected to canine "sniff" checks if they denied officers permission to search their vehicles.
