Bio-Technology General Corporation (BTG) is now known as Savient Pharmaceuticals, Inc. Investors who purchased shares of BTG during the Class Period of April 19, 1999 through August 2, 2002 tried to file a class action lawsuit against the specialty pharmaceutical company. The lawsuit claimed BTG's financial statements were materially false and misleading. The United States District Court for the District of New Jersey dismissed the case. (Aug-15-05)
