A $1.5 million settlement has been reached in the class action lawsuit filed against Taco Bell in 1997 on behalf of 13,000 former employees from about 45 Oregon Taco Bell locations. The settlement was reached with about 1,000 of the plaintiffs who submitted a claim in Multnomah County Circuit Court which made them eligible for the settlement. The suit was filed in reference to alleged overtime and meal break violations. (Aug-07-03)
