A class action lawsuit was filed against the office supply giant alleging antitrust violations for transparent tape. The class included large volume retailers who sold 3M's private label or store-brand tapes as well as its brand-name tapes including Scotch and Highland. Eastern District of Pennsylvania District Judge John Padova has granted final approval of a $28.8 million class action settlement. (Aug-24-06)
