- by

The online dating site True.com, has agreed to pay $1.5 million as settlement of a class action lawsuit brought by its customers earlier this year.

Thomas Wong filed the suit alleging that after he his free trial membership had expired he tried in vain, several times to have his membership cancelled. Instead, the company kept sending him bills. He accused True.com of unjust enrichment and conversion, as well as violations of the Texas Deceptive Trade Practices Act.
