Altria Group Inc.

Class action status has been granted to a lawsuit filed against Altria Group Incorporated's Philip Morris USA on behalf of Minnesota consumers who purchased Marlboro Lights cigarettes. The suit alleges that the plaintiffs were misled by the company about the dangers of the product, and that they believed Marlboro Lights cigarettes were healthier than the company's Marlboro and other "regular" cigarettes.
