Applebee's

The US Equal Employment Opportunity Commission has filed a class action lawsuit against the chain restaurant alleging sexual harassment toward female employees. Several female employees claim to have been subjected to physical groping and sexual solicitations; most of the incidents occurred in 2005 at the Aurora, IL Applebee's on Route 59. The complaint alleges that the restaurant violated Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 by subjecting a class of female employees to sexual harassment. It also alleges that the harassment was so bad it made the several of the complainant's jobs intolerable and they were forced to leave.
