The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission in cooperation with Atico International has recalled 27,700 nine foot patio umbrellas due to lead content. The umbrella poles contain paint with excessive levels of lead, which can cause adverse health effects if ingested by young children. The umbrellas were manufactured in China and sold at Longs Drug Stores nationwide. Consumers should stop using these umbrellas immediately.
