Audi recalled again

Four types of Audi A6 from years 1998 through 2000 have been recalled to fix the headlight switch previously recalled because it could have been improperly installed. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) is concerned that this incorrect installation could cause an electrical short and possible fire under the dashboard on the driver's side of the car. Audi A6, A6 Avant, S6 and S6 Avant cars with recall 0413000 may not have had a plastic cover securely installed by an Audi technician.

Contact Audi at 1-800-822-2834 or call NHTSA 1-888-327-4236.
