Airlines Freight and Cargo Price Fixing

A class action lawsuit has been filed alleging dozens of worldwide airlines took part in cartel like practices to fix prices on air freight and cargo. The lawsuit was filed in BC Supreme Court and claims airlines agreed to act in concert to one another in demanding fuel and security surcharges. The lawsuit also alleges the airlines agreed to fix prices, signaled increases in surcharges and took active steps to conceal the unlawful conspiracy from customers.
