A class action lawsuit has been filed against Conseco's financial unit concerning overtime pay.
The suit, filed in U.S. District Court in Minneapolis, alleged that managers at St. Paul-based Conseco Finance of ordering employees not to record overtime hours on time sheets or to alter time sheets to reflect a 40-hour workweek.
The plaintiffs include thousands of current and former loan originators at Conseco Finance's home improvement and manufactured housing division since April 2000 and its retail mortgage services division since March 2000.
